★★★★★

"We keep our eye pillows in the freezer to be ready for bumps and bruises... A staple in our family comfort kit."

Monica C., eye pillow customer

How to use it
  • Warm: Microwave for about 30 seconds. Heat in short intervals, never leave it unattended, and let it rest a moment before placing it over your eyes. Natural flaxseed can scorch if overheated, so stop as soon as it feels comfortably warm.
  • Cool: Seal in a bag and place in the freezer. Lovely and calming on a tense day or a warm night.
  • Room temperature: Lie back, rest it over closed eyes and brow, and breathe.
Size & weight
  • Weight: about 9 oz
  • Fabric: 100% cotton
  • Fill: Whole flaxseed and dried herbs. No plastic beads.
  • Cover: Removable and washable
  • Scents: Lavender, Lavender + Spearmint, Unscented
  • Made by hand in: New Hampshire, USA, in small batches
Heating & safety

Microwave times (find your wattage on the label inside the door):

  • Eye Pillow: 700 to 900 watts, about 40 seconds. 1000 to 1100 watts, about 30 seconds. 1200 watts or more, about 25 seconds. Add 10-second steps after that only if needed.
  • Start at the low end and heat in short steps. Never leave it in the microwave unattended.
  • Knead it to spread the heat, then test it on the inside of your wrist. It should feel comfortably warm, never hot.
  • Let it cool completely before you heat it again.
  • Do not sleep with a heated wrap, and do not use heat on skin that cannot feel temperature well (for example with diabetes, nerve damage, poor circulation, numbness, or after surgery).
  • Not for babies or young children. Never place a weighted product on an infant.
  • If it ever smells scorched, stop using it and email me. I will make it right.

Cool: seal in a bag and freeze for about an hour. Use a thin cloth between a frozen piece and bare skin, up to 20 minutes at a time.

Care

Wash the removable cover and keep the weighted insert dry. Spot clean the insert only and never submerge it, since water damages the flaxseed fill. Kept dry, it stays fresh and fragrant for a long time.

Why deep pressure helps

Two simple things happen at once. The pillow blocks light, which signals your body that it is time to rest. And the soft, even weight rests gently over your eyes and brow, the same kind of calming, grounding pressure you feel from a reassuring hand. Warmed, it soothes tension behind tired eyes. Chilled, it offers cool, calming relief.

Made for: falling asleep, tense, overloaded days, screen fatigue, meditation and restorative yoga, perimenopause sleep disruption, and a few quiet minutes anytime the day feels like too much.

These are statements about comfort and relaxation, not medical claims.

FAQ

How is a weighted eye pillow different from a regular sleep mask?A regular sleep mask only blocks light. A weighted eye pillow adds gentle, even weight over your eyes and brow, the calming pressure that helps your face relax and your mind settle. It also works warm or cool, so you can use it warm to soothe or cool to refresh, not just to block light.

Is it good for tired eyes? Many people use it cool from the freezer across the eyes and brow on tense, overloaded days, and warm for the tension of tired, screen-strained eyes. It is made for comfort in those moments. It does not treat or cure any condition; it offers a soothing, natural way to rest your eyes.

Can it help with perimenopause sleep trouble?A lot of our customers keep one by the bed for restless, wired nights during perimenopause, using it cool when they are warm and simply as a calming, light-blocking ritual to help settle back down. It is for comfort, not a medical device.

What is it made of?100% cotton filled with whole flaxseed and dried herbs, with a removable, washable cover. No plastic beads, no synthetic fragrance. Handmade in small batches in New Hampshire.

Very happy with my eye pillow so far. I ordered the lavender and spearmint and use it most nights for relaxation. Absolutely love that it's hand made without any toxic chemicals. Thank you!

Love it!

This is the second eye pillow I’ve bought from them.
I’m trying not to buy from Amazon anymore and to be more patient, and this was an easy online order that arrived very quickly.
Highly recommend!

I LOVE IT! I don’t know how I’ve gone 60 years without it! I’ve tried all the other brands, but this one really works! Especially the fact that I can put Irvin the freezer when I get migraines or warm it in the microwave when I just want to take a rest and ease my mind. Thanks Jess for your wonderful products they help me every single day!
