Weighted Sensory Fidgets — Calming Cotton Fidgets for Anxiety, ADHD & Stress (Set of 2)
- In stock, ready to ship
- Inventory on the way
Small enough to palm. Heavy enough to settle.
A set of two weighted sensory fidgets made from 100% cotton, filled with whole flaxseed, dried herbs, and two smooth glass marbles that shift quietly under your fingers. The weight grounds you. The shifting gives anxious hands something to do. The dried herbs offer a quiet thread of aromatherapy whenever you reach for one. A small, natural sensory tool for the moments when your body can't be still and your mind needs to settle.
Choose any two shapes, in any combination. Two hearts, two squares, or one of each. Whatever fits the hands they're made for.
What it's for
- Anxiety and stress at home, at work, and in waiting rooms
- Long phone calls and Zoom meetings when your hands need somewhere to go
- Travel: takeoff, landing, traffic, the in-between of getting there
- ADHD and sensory regulation, especially in adults and older kids who need to keep their hands busy to focus
- Bedtime for a child who isn't quite ready to be still
- Tactile grounding during overwhelm, dissociation, or hard moments
- A small comfort to keep on the desk, in a coat pocket, or in a bag
How it works
The 2.5-ounce weight per fidget is small but real. Heavy enough to feel grounding when held, light enough to keep moving between hands. The flaxseed gives the fidget its soft, grain-like texture. The two glass marbles inside shift as you press and turn the fidget, creating a quiet, repeatable sensation that gives anxious or restless hands something specific to focus on.
This is what occupational therapists call a sensory tool: a small, predictable, tactile object that helps the nervous system regulate. It's the same principle behind worry stones, prayer beads, and the smooth coin someone keeps in a pocket for a reason they can't quite explain.
Made of natural materials. Nothing else.
- 100% cotton fabric, soft against skin, sewn closed by hand
- Whole flaxseed fill, food-grade, no clay beads or plastic pellets
- Dried herbs for the scent, no added oils, no synthetic fragrance
- Two smooth glass marbles per fidget, the only non-fabric component, fully enclosed inside the cotton
- No plastic, no metal, no zippers, none of the synthetic materials common in commercial fidgets
Choose your shapes
Each set comes with two fidgets. Choose any combination at checkout:
- Heart: rounded and pocket-shaped, made to be palmed during anxious moments
- Square: flat and clean-edged, made for resting on a desk and pressing between fingers during meetings
Two hearts. Two squares. One of each. Whatever you need.
Choose your scent
- Lavender: soft and settling, our most popular for anxiety and rest.
- Spearmint: bright and clean, gentle daytime focus.
- Peppermint: cool and crisp, often chosen for headaches and travel.
- Lavender + Spearmint: balanced for any time of day.
- Unscented: pure flaxseed and marbles, no herbs, for those with scent sensitivities.
Warm, cool, or just hold it
Important: these fidgets are not microwavable. The marbles inside need the gentle, even heat of an oven. Most of the time, you don't need to warm or cool them at all — the weight and texture alone are the point. But if you'd like:
- Warm: Place on a cookie sheet in a 250°F oven for 1 to 2 minutes. Stay in the kitchen, never leave it unattended while heating, and don't let the fidget touch the oven walls or the heating element.
- Cool: Seal in a plastic bag and place in the freezer for about 1 hour.
- Room temperature: This is how most people use them, most of the time. Just hold.

Frequently asked questions
Why are these fidgets weighted?
The 2.5-ounce weight per fidget is small but intentional. Weight on the body, even in something as small as a fidget held in the palm, provides what therapists call deep touch pressure: a calming signal to the nervous system. Combined with the tactile shifting of the marbles inside, this gives anxious or restless hands a specific, predictable sensation to focus on. Many people find weighted fidgets more grounding than plastic or silicone alternatives.
Are these fidgets safe for children?
These fidgets are recommended for all ages with adult supervision for children, because each fidget contains two smooth glass marbles inside the sewn-closed cotton. The marbles are fully enclosed and the seams are reinforced, but as with any product containing small parts, we recommend adult oversight for younger children. The fidgets are well-suited to older kids, teens, and adults who can use them as intended without putting them in their mouths.
Can these fidgets help with ADHD or anxiety?
Many of our customers with ADHD, anxiety, autism, or sensory processing differences use weighted fidgets to help with focus, regulation, and stress. The combination of weight, texture, and the shifting marbles gives the hands and nervous system a specific tactile task to anchor to, which can help when sitting still or focusing feels difficult. These are not medical devices, but they are the same kind of sensory tool used by occupational therapists in their practices.
Why can't I microwave these fidgets?
The two glass marbles inside each fidget can't go in a microwave. Glass and microwaves don't mix safely. The marbles need the gentle, even heat of an oven instead. To warm a fidget: place on a cookie sheet in a 250°F oven for 1 to 2 minutes, stay nearby, and don't let the fidget touch the oven walls. Most of the time, the fidgets are used at room temperature anyway — the weight and texture are the main feature.
Do I have to choose one heart and one square?
No, you can choose any combination of two. Two hearts, two squares, or one of each. Many customers order two of the same shape so they can keep one at home and one in a bag, or give one as a gift. Some prefer the heart for palming and the square for desk use, so they get one of each.
How are these fidgets different from plastic or silicone fidgets?
Most commercial fidgets are made from plastic, silicone, or rubber. Ours are made from 100% cotton, whole flaxseed, dried herbs, and glass marbles. The natural materials feel different in the hand: softer, warmer, with a quiet weight that plastic doesn't have. They also don't smell like factory plastic, which matters for people with sensory or scent sensitivities. The trade-off is that natural-material fidgets can't be washed in a machine and need a little more care, but most people find the difference in feel worth it.
Can I wash these fidgets?
Spot clean only with cool water and mild soap. The fidgets are sewn closed and should not be machine washed or fully submerged. Water damages the flaxseed fill and dulls the herb scent. Kept dry, they stay fragrant and shapely for a long time.
Are these good for travel?
Yes. Many customers keep one in a carry-on for takeoff and landing, in a car for long drives, or in a work bag for commutes. The fidgets are small, light, quiet, and TSA-friendly. The marbles are fully enclosed and the cotton fabric makes no noise during use.
How do I choose a scent?
Lavender is the most popular for anxiety and rest. Spearmint is bright and gentle for daytime focus. Peppermint is cooler and crisper, often chosen for travel and headaches. The lavender and spearmint blend balances calm and freshness. Unscented is a thoughtful choice for those with scent sensitivities. All herbs are dried, food-grade, and naturally scented with no added oils.
Who makes these?
