How long does the scent last?
The lavender scent stays fragrant for about 3 to 6 months with daily wear, longer if rotated with other scrunchies. As the herbs gently fade, you can refresh the scent by giving the scrunchie a soft squeeze (which releases the oils still inside the dried herbs) or storing it in a small drawer with a few drops of essential oil nearby.
Will velvet damage my hair?
No. Velvet is one of the gentlest hair-tie fabrics available. The soft pile glides through hair without snagging or pulling, and unlike rubber elastics, it doesn't leave a crease. It's a popular choice for fine, curly, color-treated, and extension-friendly hair.
Which size should I order?
Medium fits most wrists comfortably and works well for fine to medium hair. Large is sized for thick, curly, or long hair, and sits looser on the wrist for a more visible accessory look. If you're unsure, Medium is the safer everyday choice; Large is the better gift when you don't know the recipient's hair type.
Can I wash it?
Spot clean only with cool water and mild soap. Avoid submerging or machine washing. Water dulls both the velvet pile and the herb scent. Air dry flat. With gentle care, a scrunchie keeps its softness and shape for years.
