- “How many marbles can you find in the fidget? Let me know when you have a number.” While the child is looking for the marbles, they are learning to use the fidget as a tool, not a toy.
- “This fidgets can help you focus. You could put it in your pocket and use it all day long. I will check in with you in a few minutes to see if it is working.”
- If the fidget is being used as a toy, let the child know how to use it as a tool. “Hold the fidget in your palm and use your pointer finger and thumb to find the marbles. Take some deep breaths too. This tool may look small, but it has big powers if you know how to use it.”
